Isn't it the pro-aborts who always talk about a woman's right to control her body?  I guess there's a double-standard when she changes her mind.  Sick... smiley

The story, if true, is shocking. If a physician actually behaved this way, not only would he lose his medical license, but criminal prosecution would certainly follow.

I haven't read the article before, but it really was sickening. Surprising how the doc wasn't prosecuted!

Can't seem to find mention of "pro-aborts" anywhere in that article? Sounded like the United States Government (via an appeals court) made that ruling. Hmmm, if you could at least copy and paste the part in the article where it mentions "pro-aborts" for me... I am getting up there in age and my eye sight has failed me in the past.

Also, is "pro-aborts" the same as pro-choice? I am pro-choice. Although, I really have no say in the matter as I will never be faced with the decision as I will never be pregnant.

One other thing, could you please direct me to where this Dr. Ehgerman case can be found besides biased news sites such as World Net Daily... thus far I have been unable to find it... then again, I haven't done a lot of research for the case.

For what appears to be secular view of the story, check out Dailytidings.  The link is to an op-ed from 2002 so the other links are old and outdated.  The other sources I found are admittedly pro-life or anti-abortion so I won't refer to them.  

I also found a cached version of a story from June 21, 2001 in Florida Today referring to the incident.  Original link: www.flatoday.com/news/local/stories/2001/jun/loc062101i.htm now defunct.

Yes, sorry.  I've heard some PCers refer to PLers as "anti-choice" when that's not necessarily true, so it's kind of the same "not necessarily true" reference to PCers from my PL perspective.  Sorry that was unclear.
