I want my kids to grow up to love the Mass and to want to be there.  Anyone have any good parental tips on how to raise your kids to eventually love Mass?  My oldest are 6 years old and their behavior is pretty good, but I am looking long term.  I sometimes feel caught in a balancing act between enforcing good behavior in Mass and getting them to love to attend Mass.  I know they have lots of maturing to do and it is difficult for some adults to understand Mass.  My ultimate goal is for them to love Christ and the Church, not just sit quietly as their mind wanders during Mass.  Anyone have any words of advice?

Thanks.

We usually bring something for Lucy (4 y.o.) to keep herself occupied during Mass, but usually she doesn't need this.  She seems to enjoy the music, singing, looking at the church books in the pews, etc.  She also "participates" as much as she can by kneeling/standing when we do.  I just figure to let her go on her own & rely mostly on God's grace to get her interested & loving Mass, because I don't believe it can be forced.
