Plagiarism is defined as:
Quote
1: a piece of writing that has been copied from someone else and is presented as being your own work 2: the act of plagiarizing; taking someone's words or ideas as if they were your own
(Dictionary.com)

Plagiarism is immoral. When it is done to a copyright work, it is illegal. And it violates the rules of this Community.

Many (nearly all) anti-Catholic posts in this forum have been plagiarized from anti-Catholic sources. That means that most of this forum has been illegally distributing copyright content without permission or attrition by the copyright holders (and that's illegal).

Most anti-Catholics allow/encourage redistribution of their material (with proper attrition, of course). However, they may not care to see their flimsy arguments so solidly refuted by the likes of RevEric and others.

If one of these Anti-Catholics was concerned that his material was too well refuted, he could EASILY take this board down (all it would take is an e-mail to the site's ISP, and it's easy to find out that this site is registered through CyberServices/EasyLinkServices (at GoDaddy.com) and is hosted at dixiesys.com), and possibly institute civil action against the maintainers.

I have read each post in this forum and added proper attrition where copyright material was used illegally. This should protect the site maintainers from action by the authors of these works.

If you cut-and-paste material that is not your own, CITE IT.

Better yet, express your questions or arguments in your own words.

I am well aware about the copyright problems and hence Melody declared the same in the News Section some time back.

Thanks David, for taking the trouble of finding the appropriate credits and posting them.

Keep up the good work.

Yes David,

Thank you for caring so much about your new family Smiley

This issue has been addressed by me in the past (as Ajay mentioned) in a post titled 'VERY IMP' in the News & Announcements Forum.

It means a lot to us to see you so pro-active here!

God bless,

Melody
