Hello family, this is Rose Mary. I first found out about this site from Melody. She posted me many months ago after reading the story about my son Thomas on one of the websites. I have found out that my children's struggles and journies have very much mirrored my own. I am a "Revert" to the Catholic Faith after many years of being an Agnostic. I didn't want ANY labels... not even Atheist... because that seemed as "elitist" as all the rest...so agnostic suited me just fine... as it meant... "I couldn't care less"...if there was or was not a God.
I was born and raised in Scotland.... My mother and her family were Irish...and my father's mother was from the Free Kirk.... very anti-Catholic denomination that still exists in the northernmost parts of Scotland. They have run ins with the Govt. over such things as the Airport (very small) operating on Sundays.
Anyway, I came to America many years ago. Married a Native American and had seven children, before he left for someone else. My children have married into many different Cultures and Races and religions, which makes me happy, because I love all cultures, races and religions. They all come from God, however, even though all religions have elements of Truth, the Catholic Faith has the fullness of Revealed Truth and that is why I am a Catholic.
