Yes Ravi, I agree with you that Idolatory is a direct violation of the commandments.

But what's key is to remember that Catholics do not practics idolatory.

This may seem like it's untrue, esp. when you see all the Statues in Catholic Churches & in homes of Catholics. But it's imp that one understands the approach to Statues.
