Hello One and All, and welcome back Ayodhya!

I'm sorry I have not been posting in the Glorify God Community as much as I used to.  As you can imagine, my new parish ministry has kept me very busy, although the experience is also incredibly rewarding.  Nevertheless, I don't get to spend much time these days on the internet, but I will try to post here whenever I can.

Being able to celebrate the Mass as a priest is an experience that words cannot describe.  Sometimes it's hard for me to believe that I actually made it to ordination.

I am currently stationed in the city of Macon, Georgia (in what we in the U.S. call the "Deep South") with two other priests.  The retired pastor lives near us and he helps out, so it is really like having a total of four priests in this parish (which is rare these days in the U.S.).  Our beautiful church building is about a hundred years old and we are in the process of renovating it.  Our parish has a website (where I am posting some of my homilies) at http:members.cox.net/sjcc
(yes, that's the correct address - there's no "//www.").

I hope everyone is doing well and please know that you are all in my prayers.

God bless,
-Rev. Eric

Glad to see you here again Rev Eric!  I'll be looking for your homilies.  I've been a little scarce here myself so I won't be the first to throw the first stone Wink .  Glad to see your ministry is off to such a great start.  Blessings upon you and your service to God's people, especially St. Joseph's parish in Macon.

Yes, I can't imagine what it must be like! You really are SO incredibly blessed. Praise God you made it to your ordination & beyond!

Thx for remembering us in your prayers, even though you're not around so much.

Btw, went through your parish site & the Homilies pages. The explaination on the difference between Sermons & Homilies was great. Don't know if you had anything to do with it, but it seem so Rev. Eric to me Smiley

Blessings on you, your parish, your family & your ministry!
