Further to a thread in which
Seeker made this remark:
What is the purpose of such speculation anyway? What is the fruit of such speculation?
I have taken Seeker's comment out of context & this post of mine isn't targetting the person to whom Seeker was answering - rather I refer to the posts of late that I feel have not been fruit bearing.
I read the above words & had a 'moment' where I realised that when we started out we were asking questions on the Church & teachings of the Church or on the Bible & the meaning of Biblical things, that made us reflect & grow together through each other's posts.
Now, in my opinion, many posts seem trivial and meant to start arguments / spark off controversy rather than to genuinely discuss or clarify things with the intent to grow in understanding.
THIS IS NOT WHAT WE'RE ABOUT here at this Community.
I IMPLORE all our family members to think of this community as a place we can loving share & grow together. Obviously, dialogue will include different points of view, but I know all of you are wise enough to see where dialogue ends.
Here's my suggestion:Perhaps we can think of topics that will enable our other family members to bear fruit? And maybe we could all keep in mind the above words of Seeker when we post

Blessings,
Melody
