I just got back from a three week visit to Miami where my daughter-in-law's little six yr. old nephew died of brain cancer on 11/11/04.   His name is Nicolas Narin Gosine... he was born 11/04/98 so we celebrated his 6th birthday at his bedside as he was sent home to die.  He was cremated on 11/16/04

He was baptised in the Catholic Church as his mother is Catholic...his father is Hindu. I was able to get a Priest to give him the Sacrament of the Sick while he was still in the hospital... and than when he was home, the Parish Priest came to give him the same Sacrament and pray with the family.

His family will need much prayer now that everyone is going back to their own homes...and they will be left with their loss.  They have a one year old little boy called Noah and he will be a blessing to them.  The website for little Nicholas is http://www.generationxmiami.net/nick/

Rose Mary, I pray for little Nick's family.

Your description touched my heart.  My kids are about the same age as Nick was.  My heart goes out to them all.  I pray that Christ gives them comfort and ask Mother Mary to pray for their healing.

Thank you for your prayers for Little Nick's family.   His Auntie Chitra, who is my daughter-in-law had a little baby girl this morning at 6:45a.m U.S.A Eastern Time.  I am babysitting the big sister, Kaylah, who is three years old.  Mother and baby are doing well and many family members will be coming up from Miami to celebrate Thanksgiving with us.   Along with the traditional turkey, there will be curries and Roti and many dishes that I can't pronounce or spell.  One real Blessing that came at Little Nick's Death Bed.... was that his Mother and Father told the Catholic Priest that they wanted their marriage Blessed by the Catholic Church.  They had a Court House Wedding and a Hindu Wedding and now...through the Grace of God... they want to have a Catholic Wedding.   "a little child shall lead them"
