Though ours is a Catholic & hence Universal church, cultural differences allow us to celebrate our feasts in slightly different fashions.

Where I live (Mumbai, India), our streets were all decorated with fairy lights in rows of twos or threes. Processions were scheduled to start from different areas of the parish all at the same time (yesterday 6pm IST).

In front was a little altar boy carrying a huge sliver cross on a long pole (waaay too big for him, lol  Cheesy). Then followed the 'First Holy Communicans' from the respective areas, all holding lit candles. Afterwards followed the general masses, reciting the rosary or singing hymns till they reached the Church.

Once at Church, there was a short wait until all the different processions congregated. Then a short sermon Smiley And then just some good fellowship with everyone wishing everyone a "Very Happy Feast".

And to my online family, I wish you the reign of Christ Jesus in your lives & the lives of your family members forever! Amen!

Blessings,

Melody

Sad to say, at my parish in the US there was no special celebration.

There were other good things though.  Our parish priest's homily really brought home Christ's kingship.  A visiting bishop from the Ukraine also gave part of the homily.  The experiences he shared from his dealings with the former Communist regime also drove home the point of Christ's kingship.  He ended his homily with the point that Christ is always victorious.
