during lent is it a practice to recite only the sorrowful mysteries ?

Hi vivshaun!

It is standard practice to pray the Sorrowful Mysteries every Tuesday and Friday.  During Lent, a lot of people also pray the Sorrowful Mysteries on Sunday as a reminder of Our Lord's Passion.

However, these are guidelines and there is nothing wrong with praying the mysteries you feel moved to at the time.  There is something unifying though, with knowing that the mysteries you are meditating on that day are also being meditated on by millions of your brothers and sisters in Christ.
