Anyone who has Read revelation wil wonder if we are entering the "end time". IF (big if) my interpretaqtions are correct the Bible states that we havwe to have "peace" before the beginning of the End Time, which I interpret as the Tribulational Period.

Since there has been no peace in Israel since the country was formed in 1948, we still have to wait awhile yet.

If my interpretaion is corrrect, when someone from the Middle East actually brokers a peace between Israel and the Arab/Muslim entities of the surrounding area, it will be the beginning of the Tribulational Period, and the person who brokers this peace is likely the False Prophet/Anti-Christ. But, I think he has to be of Middle East descent, meaning he will probably be an Arab or Persian.

Anyhow, this is only the predicted storm before the calm, before the REAL storm, IF we believe there will be a Second Coming, Armageddon etc.

Hey Rev. Eric, what are your thoughts on Revelation? Symbolic, symbolic or real events, or just fanciful writing?

May Yahweh bless all of you,

I've spent 10 years researching Genesis and Revelation, and hopefully have learned something in that time, but I don't claim to have all the answers.

Anyone familiar with Revelation is also familiar with the "End Time" and the "three foul demon spirits" (Rv. 16:12-16) who call together the kings of the world for the war of the Great Day.

As I listen to the headlines I have to wonder if these three foul spirits are not three Middle East leaders aligned with the militant factions of Islam or the militant factions themselves, like Al Quaeda, Hamas and Hezbollah, or their respective leaders, or leaders of their countries.

If you have read the book The Bible Code (supposed hidden prophetic code within the Aramaic/Hebrew language versions of the Bible) you know that the name "Assad" is mentioned in conjunction with the word "disaster".

Bachir al Assad is the leader of Syria (an educated Dentist I believe), who appears to be a Shiite Muslim who is opposed to Israel and the Jews.

Anyhow, are we seeing signs of the preface to the "End Times" predicted in the Bible???

I obviously have my own thoughts on the subject.

I'm not sure what to make of it TR.  Seems like we always have wars and such throughout the world and throughout history.  Had I been around in WWII I would have thought that was an indication of the end times. I'm just not sure.  What's your take on it?

Bashar al- Assad is an Alwaite( minority gourp in Syria) not a shite as you have mentioned.  He was a doctor (opthamologist) by profession before he became the president of Syria (Source:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bashar_al-Assad).

Peace is just a break or interval between wars.  People will fight wars, have  peace deals, break the peace deals they made and go to war again. The vicious cycle will always continue. Has Seeker already mentioned World War I was thought to be the end of the world which did not happen and then  World War II was fought and we are still here.

Well, he is still a "shite"- murdering hs own people. I thinh he is due for an overthrow. But, that might negate some of the things predicted in the Bible code ...

Who knows.?

Hey - why do they call it apologetics? - I'm, not apologizing for my beliefs ...
