Introduction

It's always difficult to write about myself. For the main reason that there is so little to write. My life has been a struggle with the failures many and the successes very far in between; the sorrows plenty and the joys few.

But recently I asked myself the question: what - or rather Who - ensured that I made it through all these years of disappointment? Was it my own resilience or was it the hand of someone I never had faith in?

Surely it couldn't be the Lord Jesus? Because here I was - someone who to this day stands outside Church; someone who has never ever read the Bible; someone who always thought prayer was a waste of time... surely He would have more deserving people who needed his attention.

But I know that that like in the parable of the Prodigal Son, the Lord was always waiting for me to return to Him. And it gives me great joy to know that He welcomes me with open arms.

I've been reading Melody's articles and it amazes me that anyone could be so beautifully devoted to spreading His word. Thanks Melody ... and thank you, Ajay, for putting this all together. 

Well - I haven't really told you a lot about myself. To tell you the truth, I'd rather not say too much ... because there is stuff there that I am not proud of. Hopefully that will all change now.

I didn't think you'd join the community - it's so great to have you here.

Lots to say - trust we'll hear lot more of you in the different forums.

Just one last thing to add before ending this small welcome - we ALL are sinners, we ALL have sinned and fallen short of His glory. Even all the 'holy' ones. What matters is what you said in ending - that you want all that to change. Trust in the Lord's eternal & unconditional love for you and you'll see how you'll transform into what He originally intended for you to be!
