Should Dara Singh (who burnt the Staines to death) be forgiven?

I'm not sure if you mean - Should Dara Singh be forgiven, by the Judicial System or by individuals.

If you meant the former, I'm a little on the fence. While I find it is proper that he is convicted & sentenced, I'm also anti-dealth penalty as I do not think a human being has the right to take another's life - to back this up, there are several cases of reform during imprisonment (great true stories in Prison to Praise & Power in Praise).

If you meant, should individuals forgive him, then the answer is a resounding YES! If Gladys Staines had the Grace of God to forgive the men who killed her husband & two children, we should have nothing less. Besides that, it is our duty as Christians to forgive ALL people, regardless of what they have done.

Do not condone the sin, but definetely forgive & pray for the sinner.
