This really upsets me.  If you can't trust Catholic institutions to uphold & practice church morals, then who can you trust?

I'm also a little ticked that DD's former pediatrician didn't inform us that the chicken pox vaccine uses fetal tissue cells.  If he had we wouldn't have consented to the vaccination.

I agree with you Tina.  Sounds like Georgetown is saying that the end justifies the means.  Anyway you cut it, their research is benefitting from the unjustified deaths of innocents.  Sad  Bravo to the four researchers who voluntarily stopped using tissue from abortions.  Smiley

Amen!  Hopefully maybe some others eventually will decide to do the same, or better yet, maybe the university itself will decide to uphold Catholic morals and ban it altogether. smiley

I agree with you both. I also think we should pray for Debra Vinnedge & all the ppl. trying to stop things like this. People who take stands like these are prone to spiritual, mental & physical attacks too in some cases, so our prayers for them will enable us in a small way to do something against cases like these.

Here's an article with more on Debra Vinnedge & what's being done to try to change things at Georgetown, for anyone who's interested.  It should be the first story listed on this link.
